Damascus Onyango

Mr. Damascus Onyango holds Post Graduate Diploma – Education and Bachelors of Arts Degree- Economics/ Rural Economy from Makerere University; Certificate in farming systems Federal Republic of Germany, Certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation awarded by Uganda Management Institute (UMI), Diploma in Business Management/Administration from the College of Professional Management– Britain.

He is a highly experienced person having worked as a Cooperative Officer, Ministry of Co-operatives and Marketing, Area Project Officer – Micro Finance Support Centre Limited (MSC Ltd) / Rural Micro Finance Support Project (RMSP)-(ADB /GOU) Funding managed by Office 0f the Prime Minister, lecturer, institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo ITEK) and is also the founder and CEO of Sule Integrated Development Organization (SIDO)- an NGO responding to the social economic and challenges facing the youths, children and the rural women.

The Organization has now transformed itself into a company limited by shares (Sule manufacturers ltd) whose main objective is to promote value addition through processing and production of cooking oil from sunflower and byproducts to process soap, animal feed and lotion.

Mr. Damascus also serves in several other Boards including; Barinyanga Technical School, Chairperson Tororo Network of Aids Service Organizations TONASO, member of the working group Water and Sanitation Network- WASINETand Nawire Primary School.

Hon. Thomas Okoth Nyalulu

Thomas Okoth-Nyalulu holds an Executive MBA, with several other qualifications obtained both from within Uganda and Europe. He brings in an amazing wealth of experience that spans over 38 years of providing services to the government of Uganda, Private Sector and the Civil Society in the areas of Education, Finance and Leadership.

Currently, he is the Chairperson Board of Trustees of the Cross-Cultural Foundation of Uganda- an organization that exists to promote an appreciation of culture as vital for human development that responds to our diverse identities.

Dr. Nyadoi Priscilla (PhD)

Dr Nyadoi Priscilla, holds a PhD in Forestry (Genetics, Biodiversity and Ecology), MSc and BSc. degrees in the same field. She is the Executive Secretary of Uganda Wildlife Society-https://www.uws.or.ug/, a member of National Environment Management Authority (NEMA- https://www.nema.go.ug/) Uganda’s 8th Board of Directors (vice Chairperson 7th Board), the President, Organisation for Women in Sciences for the Developing World (OWSD) Uganda National Chapter- https://owsd.net/network/uganda, a Co-editor for Gene Conserve and reviewer for several other scientific journal publishers. Nyadoi has over 10 years teaching experiences obtained while with College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences in the bachelor of land use and management Programme of Makerere University.

She is a recipient of awards by Global Environment Facility, United Nations and Government of Uganda (2019-2021), Columbus Zoos and Aquarium USA (20018-2019), Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (2016-2017), Global Green Grants (2017-2018), Royal Dutch Government/Ecosystem Alliance Programme by Both ENDS, Wetlands International and IUCN (2012-2016), World Forestry Institute USA (2016), Austrian Development Cooperation for Academic Mobility OAD (2007-2008),, International Foundation for Science research grants (2006-2008), Third World Organization for Women in Sciences Fellowship (2004-2007), Italy, International Systems for Analysis Research and Training (START) Visiting Scientist 12th round Fellowship (2004), USA and, the African Network for Agricultural, Natural Resources, Forestry and Environment Education (ANAFE) Fellowship (2004), among others.
